Question:

After upgrading the firmware of my recorder it keeps timing out in the IVMS-4200. How do I fix that?

Answer:

If the recorder keeps timing out even after waiting the 30 minutes, default the recorder so that the firmware upgrade can settle completely and that should stop it from excessively locking up.
