Step 1 Navigate to the "Person" section in the iVMS 4200 and "edit" a person
- Menu > Person > select a person > Edit
Step 2 Fill in the "Resident Information" section under each person that has access to the outdoor (KD8003).
- Bind Device = Indoor station linked to outdoor (will say "Analog Indoor Station" if indoor isn't added to the 4200)
- Door Station = Outdoor station you are adding the cards to
- Room = If only 1 outdoor & indoor linked together, settings will look like above. If multiple outdoor/indoors are added into intercom system, may look different.
Step 3 Click "Add" in the "Add Person" section to save the changes.
Step 4 Apply the access control (card) permissions to the outdoor station.
- Menu > Access Control > Authorization > Access Group
- Select the access group for the outdoor, then click on "Apply Changes to Device". You should then get a "Applying Status" popup that says "All Applied".
- If the "Apply Changes to Device" fails, try a "Apply All to Device".
