I am trying to reset my password with the SADP tool, but I keep getting Error 2022: The encrypted string is empty in the SADP tool. What is this and how do I fix it?

Answer:

Error 2022 typically means that the XML encrypt file is no longer valid. This could be due to it being a few days old or the recorder being reset at some point after the original XML file was exported. A new file will need to be generated.
