How do I downgrade firmware?

Question:

I upgraded my firmware, but I want to go back to the way things were. How can I downgrade?

Answer:

It is not advisable and in many cases not possible to downgrade firmware. If you are considering this please consult with a licensed installer or with the Hikvision Tech Support team before proceeding.
