I have updated my current Hik central version to the latest version from your website. I am having issues with control clients on workstations on the LAN. What could be a possible cause?

I have updated my current Hik central version to the latest version from your website. I am having issues with control clients on workstations on the LAN. What could be a possible cause?

Answer:

While upgrading on the HCP SYS server does upgrade the Control client on that server. It does NOT upgrade the Control client on the computers across the network. 

After the upgrade of the HCP on the SYS server, log into the "HikCentral Professional Web Client" and under "Maintenance and Management", click on the "Desktop Client (x.x.x)"  to download the correct control client to be installed on the computers on the LAN.
