My phone cameras say the network is unstable. How can io fix this?
Answer:
One possible reason is the device that is added to the Hik connect account may not have the proper preffered and alternate DNS IP addresses set.
Typically, the preffered DNS should be set to 8.8.8.8
Typically , the alternate DNS should be set to 1.1.1.1
After these setting have been made, reboot the recorder, then log out of the Hik connect account on the mobile app. (Be sure to have the password for the Hik connect account before logging out).
Once the recorder is back up from the reboot, and all the cameras are showing locally. Log into the Hik connect account on the mobile device.
